Dog Behavior Workshops
The Mountains Humane Society... and expert dog behaviorist Rick Belmonte have teamed up to offer dog behavior workshops. The format of the training is 'seminar' style. Dogs come with their families and, first-come-first-serve, people ask how to fix their particular problem. Rick then works with the dog and shows everybody who's there how to handle the problem. By attending you get a solution to your problem and learn a lot more from observing others. It costs $20; all dogs in attendance need to be safe with other dogs and with people.
Rattlesnake Aversion Training
Whether you're out hiking, or even in your own back yard, there's a chance that you and your dog will encounter a rattlesnake. We're hosting rattlesnake aversion training from the experts at Natural Solutions.... This training teaches your dog to recognize rattlesnakes by sight, smell, and sound, and to avoid them. ($75 per dog)
