Directions for Left-Brained Individuals
- From Portland on I-5 North – go approximately 35 mi.
- Take exit #36 / WA-432 West onto Tennant Way [WA-432] toward Longview - go 3.8 mi. Follow all signs that say "Oregon."
- Turn left on Oregon Way [WA-433] - go 1.8 mi.
- Continue on over bridge, on WA-433 - go 0.6 mi.
- Take ramp onto US-30 West- go 4.8 mi.
- Cross over Beaver Creek and take the next slight right on to Beaver Falls Rd (small sign saying "Delena" no sign for Beaver Falls Rd.) - go 0.5 mi.
- Turn right on Delena Mayger Rd - go 0.2 mi.
- As soon as you are on Delena Mayger Rd, start looking for the big red barn. You'll see it. Drive between the white house and the 3 car garage to the red barn. The dogs will alert us that you're here!.
- From Hwy-30 (or Cornelius Pass) North – Get to Hwy 30 any way you would like (Cornelius Pass is good for that if you are a Westie).
- Turn north (left) at Hwy 30 and go approximately 35 mi north through Scappoose, St. Helens and Rainier.
- After passing the Lewis and Clark Bridge go 4.8 mi.
- Cross over Beaver Creek and take the next slight right on to Beaver Falls Rd (small sign saying "Delena" no sign for Beaver Falls Rd.) - go 0.5 mi.
- Turn right on Delena Mayger Rd - go 0.2 mi.
- As soon as you are on Delena Mayger Rd, start looking for the big red barn. You'll see it. Drive between the white house and the 3 car garage to the red barn. The dogs will alert us that you're here!.
Directions for Right-Brained Individuals

From Portland drive north on I-5. At approximately mile 35 take
Exit 36 (Washington Hwy 432) toward Longview/Kelso.
Drive west; you will see this sign.
Do NOT turn here; just ignore it.
Keep driving west another half mile.
When you see this sign get into the LEFT turn lane,
then turn left heading to Oregon.You will be on Oregon Way / 15th Street
Heading south travel on over the Lewis & Clark Bridge.
Back in Oregon (Phew!) Travel west on Hwy 30 for about 4 miles.
You'll see this sign as you pass over Beaver Creek.
You're getting close! Beaver creek flows through our back yard.
At about a quarter mile past Beaver Creek look for the Passing Lane 1 Mile sign. Turn on your right turn signal. In about a quarter mile you'll be turning right on... This road (which incidentally is Beaver Falls Road).Interesting is it not that the sign says "Delena" (which is a small burg that doesn't exist any more) yet Beaver falls road does, which is unmarked!
Be that as it may, take the gradual right turn onto Beaver Falls Road.
Drive about a quarter mile to Delena Mayger Road, passing over Beaver Creek once again. As soon as you are on Delena Mayger Road... Look up. Unless you are driving at midnight on a moonless night you'll immediately see the big red barn. Drive on back between the white house and the 3-car garage toward the barn. The Double Dog Ranch World Headquarters is attached to the north end of the barn.
